What? Parents having epic fails? No way! … Unfortunately (especially for their children), there continues to be proof that some parents do have some spells of … ahem … spaced out moments every now and then.

Call it a major lapse in decision-making which will make parents and even non-parents cringe, some of these epic parenting fails were caught on camera … Lucky for us! LOL

Of course we can give some parents some slack as you probably have also had your share of epic parenting fails (just hope they were not caught on camera!). However, some of the pictures you will see are really utterly shocking or unbelievably funny.

What were these parents thinking?!! It really makes you wonder whether some of these people are even fit to be parents.

Fortunately for some for the kids, they are still too young to realize what the hell is going on. However, for some of them, we can just hope that they won’t be traumatized and scarred for life.

3. Bathe a child all covered in food or sometimes, at worst … poop.

You just hope that the mess is just food most of the time. You can do it without batting an eyelash cause you are mom.

Talk about super mushy, mushy food! Moms have to taste them to make sure the baby will love them.

This mom is taking Facebook and the internet by storm. It’s not because she made a major booboo or because of some extra ordinary talent that she has … it’s because she reminds us that sometimes it’s just the simplest, mundane things that can really make us very happy.

In her Facebook Live video, Candace Payne, a 37 year old mother of two, just could not contain her excitement about her purchase at Kohl’s. The gift, which she said is intended for her son, is for hers to keep:

From that point on in the video, she just could not contain her excitement and giddiness. As she does a demo of the Star Wars Chewbacca mask, her giddiness turns into an infectious laughing fit. You just have to really see it yourself.

Chances are the baby books you’ve read have already warned you about the sleepless nights ahead. Well, that’s a given fact.

There will definitely be a lot of sleepless nights ahead. However no baby book will ever give you tips on how to stay awake. You just have to figure that out yourself.

Unless you’re reading the book of life, don’t expect to learn, from the pages of a baby book, about the changes that will happen after giving birth. Baby books don’t tackle that kind of heavy stuff.

A research study carried out at Yale University’s Infant Cognition Center and led by Paul Bloom, a professor psychology, found out that babies can indeed have moral judgement and can differentiate between helpful and unhelpful behavior.

In one experiment babies between six and ten months old were repeatedly shown a puppet show featuring wooden shapes with eyes. A red ball attempts to climb a hill and is aided at times by a yellow triangle that helps it up the hill by getting behind it and pushing. At other times the red ball is forced back down the hill by a blue square. After watching the puppet show at least six times the babies were asked to choose a character. An overwhelming majority (over 80%) chose the helpful figure. Prof. Bloom said it was not a subtle statistical trend as “just about all the babies reached for the good guy.

Studies confirm this amazing instinctive ability of babies. According to researchers, babies use their sense of smell, hearing, and vision to crawl on their mother’s belly and latch on her nipple. It’s really an extra ordinary phenomena.

Confirming what a lot of parents suspect, a Japanese researcher analyzed the cries of two babies over the course of six months and found that a baby can indeed turn on the waterworks on an instant in order to get a mother’s attention.

The infant “appeared to cry deliberately to get her mother’s attention and convey to her [mother] that she wanted her to come closer and play with her again,” study researcher Hiroko Nakayama, of the University of the Sacred Heart in Tokyo, wrote in the December issue of the journal Infant Behavior and Development. “This appeared to be an instance of fake crying,” Nakayama said.

Researchers found that starting at around 6 months, babies appear to be studying the lips of people who were talking to them instead of just gazing intently into the talking person’s eyes.

“The baby in order to imitate you has to figure out how to shape their lips to make that particular sound they’re hearing,” explains developmental psychologist David Lewkowicz of Florida Atlantic University, who led the study being published Monday. “It’s an incredibly complex process.”

It doesn’t take long for babies to start picking up things and start matching the sounds coming out with the movements of the mouth. It’s quite remarkable that these little babies are so observant.

“It’s a pretty intriguing finding,” says University of Iowa psychology professor Bob McMurray, who also studies speech development. The babies “know what they need to know about, and they’re able to deploy their attention to what’s important at that point in development.”

Who needs a lie detector when apparently, babies are as adept as being BS detectors as they are milk consumption experts.

However, a study found that babies tend to imitate an adult based on how credible they perceive that particular adult. It’s like they have some sort of radar to screen the real one from the “bogus” one.

“Like older children, infants keep track of an individual’s history of being accurate or inaccurate and use this information to guide their subsequent learning,” said study researcher Diane Poulin-Dubois, a professor in the Concordia Department of Psychology and member of the university’s Centre for Research in Human Development. “Specifically, infants choose not to learn from someone who they perceive as unreliable.”

Numbers 1 and 2 are surprising revelations. All the while you thought you could get away with certain stuff, apparently not. You’re better off thinking twice before saying something to your cute, adorable baby.

That’s exactly what adorable Sophie did when she got into trouble while doing just that. Her father, Joseph Nagorski, had to get to the bottom of the nail polish disaster so little Sophie had some explaining to do before she got her punishment.

You actually saw the video as it was intended and I am happy you enjoyed it,” he wrote. “For those that are trying to critique our parenting style and diagnosis our daughter, I am sorry that you have nothing to do other than shame other people and read way to deep into light-hearted videos on YouTube.

The folks at luxury stroller maker, Bugaboo, sure have marketing sorta figured out with their latest photo on their Facebook fanpage … an image of a jogging stroller being pushed by a super model in her bikinis. Yup, you read that right and I am not kidding.

The image has certainly created some stir and polarizing conversation among moms with some wacky and hilarious comments on Bugaboo’s Facebook such as:

I’m not gonna cus her out for what she’s wearing but I have 2 children and if was running in this on the school run it would be because I’d forgotten to put my clothes on because we’re late for school, my 5 year old had fallen off his scooter, my 2 year old refuses to put his shoes on and there’s a good chance I haven’t had the time to do my bikini line. There’s an image to leave you with.

That’s actually my body, just with her head on it. The message here is: staying fit is suuuuuuuuuper easy and if you do not have a Bugaboo then you’re stupid.

That top cannot be supporting anything, there is nothing to it! If the image was of her wearing that outfit whilst enjoying a day at the beach or pool then fine it looks appropriate but really, taking a run with ur child in the park???!!!

Toddlers are usually the easiest to please. Unfortunately, they’re the easiest to annoy as well. You can do something very subtle only to end up annoying them.

When they’re in a very, very bad mood, it just seems like every little thing you do annoys them.

So what are you to do? You definitely want to avoid annoying them but that becomes a very difficult task most especially if you don’t know what to do. To add to that, how are you supposed to figure out what to do if you don’t really know what annoys them, right?

First things first, you need to figure out exactly what annoys your toddler. Considering the fact that you’re pretty much the only person your toddler interacts with on a regular basis, what you do or say is the reason why your toddler gets annoyed. As much as that hurts, it’s true.

Narrowing it down to what you say or do is still pretty tricky. You probably won’t be able to figure that out right away.

Here the 10 subtle ways that you unknowingly do to annoy your toddler.

1. Present them with merely one option at meal time.

2. Ask them to wash dirt off their hands.

3. Do not know the exact lyrics to every nursery rhyme ever created.

4. Look at them.
