<p>Call it a major lapse in decision-making which will make parents and even non-parents cringe, some of these epic parenting fails were caught on camera &#8230; Lucky for us! LOL</p>

<p>Of course we can give some parents some slack as you probably have also had your share of epic parenting fails (just hope they were not caught on camera!). However, some of the pictures you will see are really utterly shocking or unbelievably funny.</p>
<figure id="attachment_3442" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-3442" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img decoding="async" class="wp-image-3442" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/dad-squat-baby.jpg" alt="" width="800" height="998" data-pin-nopin="true" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-3442" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.danoah.com/the-24-best-worst-parenting-fails/3" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">danoah.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>What were these parents thinking?!! It really makes you wonder whether some of these people are even fit to be parents.</p>
<p>Fortunately for some for the kids, they are still too young to realize what the hell is going on. However, for some of them, we can just hope that they won’t be traumatized and scarred for life.</p>
<p>Check out these unbearably cringeworthy parenting fails now.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s what some moms really do while the baby is sleeping &#8230;</p>
<h2>25. &#8220;I might as well have a sandwich break while the baby is fast asleep.&#8221;</h2>
<figure id="attachment_96" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-96" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img decoding="async" class="wp-image-96" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-005.jpg" alt="parenting-fails-005" width="800" height="854" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-005.jpg 492w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-005-300x320.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-96" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.parentfail.com/couldnt-wait/#more-2862" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">parentfail.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>A motorcycle + a dad + a baby in a stroller = this (see below). Seriously, who would have thought people would really do this.</p>
<h2>24. &#8220;I got you, honey bun. We&#8217;re almost there.&#8221;</h2>
<figure id="attachment_3437" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-3437" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-3437" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/motorcycle-stroller.jpg" alt="" width="800" height="520" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/motorcycle-stroller.jpg 660w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/motorcycle-stroller-640x416.jpg 640w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-3437" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="https://thechive.com/2012/07/18/good-parenting-nailed-it-35-photos/bad-parenting-fail-funny-parents-11/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">thechive.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Would you ever let your toddler climb up an open refrigerator? Apparently, some parent did, ignored safety, and simply took a picture of the moment.</p>
<h2>23. &#8220;Hey son, could you please get me some juice? It&#8217;s on the second highest shelf of the ref.&#8221;</h2>
<figure id="attachment_86" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-86" style="width: 640px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-86 size-full" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-001.jpg" alt="parenting-fails-001" width="640" height="841" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-001.jpg 640w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-001-300x394.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-86" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://izifunny.com/2012/05/03/lovely-but-stupid-parents-58-pics,20.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">izifunny.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>The next picture shows another way to use strollers to watch a parade.</p>
<h2>22. &#8220;Just sit tight little Bobby. You&#8217;ve got the best view from up here.&#8221;</h2>
<figure id="attachment_87" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-87" style="width: 600px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-87" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-002.jpg" alt="parenting-fails-002" width="600" height="800" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-002.jpg 450w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-002-300x400.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-87" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.buzzfeed.com/patricksmith/25-people-havent-quite-figured-out-parenting-yet?sub=3084404_2609042#.ut4g2eeW7" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">buzzfeed.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Plan to visit a zoo. See what one father did to give his kid an up close look at racoons.</p>
<h2>21. &#8220;Hey son, let me hold you upside down so that you can go feed the raccoons up close.&#8221;</h2>
<figure id="attachment_579" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-579" style="width: 600px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-579" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-003a.jpg" alt="parenting-fails-003a" width="600" height="719" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-003a.jpg 450w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-003a-300x359.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-579" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://sydesjokes.blogspot.com/2010/04/examples-of-stupid-parents-1.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">sydesjokes.blogspot.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Multi-tasking is an art form that is taken to the next level by this mom.</p>
<h2>20.&#8221;Honey, while you are taking all four of us across town on the family motorcycle, let me just breast feed the baby.&#8221;</h2>
<figure id="attachment_94" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-94" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-94" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-004.jpg" alt="parenting-fails-004" width="800" height="795" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-004.jpg 525w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-004-96x96.jpg 96w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-004-300x298.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-94" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.teamjimmyjoe.com/2013/11/worst-parents-bad-mommy-daddy/#.VGgsH3rnbqB" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">teamjimmyjoe.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>What would you do when it&#8217;s your turn on the skeet ball while you are babysitting?</p>
<h2>19. &#8220;Sweetie, why don&#8217;t you just lie down there while I play an amazing game of skeet ball.&#8221;</h2>
<figure id="attachment_3284" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-3284" style="width: 600px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-3284" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-006a.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="925" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-006a.jpg 402w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-006a-272x420.jpg 272w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-3284" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.epicfail.com/" target="new" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">epicfail.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Check out a great shot of a family strolling along a seaside park. You won&#8217;t believe what you&#8217;ll see &#8230;.</p>
<h2>18. &#8220;How&#8217;s your ride going so far, son?&#8221;</h2>
<figure id="attachment_581" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-581" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-581" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-007a.jpg" alt="parenting-fails-007a" width="800" height="531" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-007a.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-007a-300x199.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-581" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://clubhardhead.com/photos/15-pics-of-stupid-parents/attachment/stupid-parents-12/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">clubhardhead.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>I guess some moms are just clueless when it comes to strapping their toddlers to their backs.</p>
<h2>17. &#8220;Mommy! Mommy! Your back sweat is suffocating me!&#8221;</h2>
<figure id="attachment_89" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-89" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-89" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-008.jpg" alt="parenting-fails-008" width="800" height="584" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-008.jpg 640w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/parenting-fails-008-300x219.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-89" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://izifunny.com/2012/05/03/lovely-but-stupid-parents-58-pics,32.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">izifunny.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>It’s a great day for Slurpee! See what this mom did when she brought her kids to get some Slurpee.</p>
<h2>16. &#8220;You just stay put there, sweetie. I need to help your sister with her Slurpee issues.&#8221;</h2>
<figure id="attachment_386" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-386" style="width: 600px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-386" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/parenting-fails-67-pics_43.jpg" alt="parenting-fails" width="600" height="802" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/parenting-fails-67-pics_43.jpg 640w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/parenting-fails-67-pics_43-300x401.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-386" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://izifunny.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">izifunny.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>The picture on the next page is proof that a child comes really handy when you need someone to help you hold a construction board for your other kid&#8217;s school project.</p>
<h2>15. &#8220;Just hold the board tightly while I bike us back home.&#8221;</h2>
<figure id="attachment_388" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-388" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-388" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/bad_parents_07.jpg" alt="bad parents" width="800" height="528" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/bad_parents_07.jpg 640w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/bad_parents_07-300x198.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-388" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://forum.blackhairmedia.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">blackhairmedia.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Sometimes your kid really needs to wash their hands no matter what, right.</p>
<h2>14. &#8220;Alright. Go and wash your hands now! Why don&#8217;t you brush your teeth too while you&#8217;re at it.&#8221;</h2>

<p>Babies are so cute. Sometimes they come in very handy in their own simple way.</p>
<h2>13. &#8220;Momma, it&#8217;s not fair. I also want to be a laptop cushion just like little Bobby.&#8221;</h2>

<p>Who would have ever thought you’d do all of these icky things? Up until you became a mom, you never thought you were capable enough to do some stuff that can be downright gross.</p>
<p>But now that you’re a mom, doing all these things becomes second nature. You do the grossest thing without freaking out. Sure, there are times when you complain about it. But you still end up doing it, right? Well, that’s because you are a mom. You would do anything for your child.</p>
<p>So here are the grossest things that you usually do as a mom.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-5228" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Parenting-Hacks-Funny-21-Grossest-Things-Moms-Do.png" alt="" width="500" height="750" data-pin-title="21 Grossest Things Moms Do. #1 Is An “I’m About To Throw Up” Moment" data-pin-description="21 Grossest Things Moms Do | OhMyParenting.com | 🤯🤢👶 Ever tackled tasks you never imagined before motherhood? Uncover the wildly gross yet heartwarmingly funny side of parenting no one talks about! 😅🙌 Embrace the madness and see how many you've secretly mastered. Dare to check the list? 🤔👀 Click now! #parentinghacks #parentinghacksfunny #momtruths #momlife #mommagic" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Parenting-Hacks-Funny-21-Grossest-Things-Moms-Do.png 1000w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Parenting-Hacks-Funny-21-Grossest-Things-Moms-Do-640x960.png 640w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></p>
<p>At a glance, they do seem pretty disgusting. But when you think about it, doing all these things just shows your love and devotion. No one else could lovingly and affectionately do all these things but you.</p>
<p>So yes, motherhood can really make you do some strange stuff. You’re not taught to do it &#8230; you just do it because now you have kids.</p>
<p>Mind you, these grossest things require your most special touch because there is no standard way of doing it. None at all! All it takes is that special bond between you and your child.</p>
<p>Here they are.</p>
<h2>21. Unexpectedly drink your loving child&#8217;s vomit.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_3403" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-3403" style="width: 600px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-3403" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/child-barf.gif" alt="" width="600" height="804" data-pin-nopin="true" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-3403" class="wp-caption-text">Source: <a href="https://media.giphy.com/media/e9xlkMmOkNzqM/giphy.gif" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Giphy</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>With motherhood, expect the unexpected.</p>
<p>This is definitely one of the first things mom has do once she has a child &#8230;</p>
<h2>20. Wash the cute little bum bum even if it stinks big time.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_449" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-449" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-449" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/4400002076_0cd427e123_o.gif" alt="gross-things-mom-do" width="800" height="529" data-pin-nopin="true" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-449" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://bumbumgerms.blogspot.com/2011/10/fun-friendly-phobic-fact-friday_14.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">bumbumgerms.blogspot.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>It’s a dirty job but somebody’s got to do it! And that’s mom!</p>
<p>Did you ever think you would do the next one without freaking out?</p>
<h2>19. Clean out snot, boogers, and whatever without getting squirmy about it.</h2>
<p><a href="https://www.theverge.com/2016/6/29/12058224/baby-nose-pasta-gifs" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-3405" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/spaghetti-sneeze.gif" alt="" width="800" height="450" data-pin-nopin="true" /></a></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-3401" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/snot.gif" alt="" width="800" height="450" data-pin-nopin="true" /></p>
<p>This is a task for super mom!</p>
<p>What happens if your child feels like throwing up?</p>
<h2>18. Catch vomit with your bare hands.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_452" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-452" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-452" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Beyonce-Blue-Ivy-vomit-INF-1024x770.jpg" alt="gross-things-moms-do-03" width="800" height="602" data-pin-nopin="true" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-452" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://sandrarose.com/2014/09/blue-ivy-gets-seasick-and-vomits-into-beyonces-hand/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">sandrarose.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Even a superstar mom like Beyonce does it.</p>
<p>What do moms do when her child is full?</p>
<h2>17. Eat your kid’s leftovers even though they look so unappetizing.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_455" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-455" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-455" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/leftovers.jpg" alt="gross-things-moms-do-04" width="800" height="459" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/leftovers.jpg 575w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/leftovers-300x172.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-455" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://mycupisfull.com/how-to-heat-leftovers/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">mycupisfull.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Taking fine dining to a totally different level.</p>
<p>So what do you do when your child no longer likes the candy in their mouth?</p>
<h2>16. Eat a candy that had previously been half-sucked or half-licked.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_457" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-457" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-457" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/dsc08670_thumb.jpg" alt="gross-things-moms-do-05" width="800" height="606" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/dsc08670_thumb.jpg 660w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/dsc08670_thumb-300x227.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-457" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="https://sujean80.wordpress.com/2012/12/03/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">sujean80.wordpress.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>It just tastes so much better with all that saliva!</p>
<p>You are guilty of doing the next one. You just cannot deny doing this.</p>
<h2>15. Smell the “toesies” after the socks are taken off.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_459" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-459" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-459" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/small-the-toesies.jpg" alt="gross-things-moms-do-06" width="800" height="447" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/small-the-toesies.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/small-the-toesies-300x168.jpg 300w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/small-the-toesies-134x75.jpg 134w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/small-the-toesies-200x113.jpg 200w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-459" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7SMOM3KJ8cA/ThoYuNQllyI/AAAAAAAADaQ/F-U8m-QgEBw/s320/DSC_0305.JPG" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">2.bp.blogspot.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>The scent only a mom could love.</p>
<p>This is gross but moms become joyous when this happens &#8230;</p>
<h2>14. Rejoice at the smell of poop of your constipated child.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_461" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-461" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-461" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/poop-1.jpg" alt="gross-things-moms-do-07" width="800" height="595" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/poop-1.jpg 500w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/poop-1-300x223.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-461" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="https://kenyanmamatales.wordpress.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">kenyanmamatales.wordpress.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Finally he did it and you’re ecstatic! He’s not constipated anymore!</p>
<p>Who needs wipes when you can just do this.</p>
<h2>13. Use your saliva to wipe dirt off your kid’s face, anything, and everything.</h2>

<p>Who needs wipes when you can just wipe anything off with saliva?</p>
<p>There are some things you used to do in private &#8230; until now.</p>
<h2>12. Fart and burp even when you are around your child.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_477" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-477" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/cant-believe-mom-did-that.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-477" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/cant-believe-mom-did-that.jpg" alt="gross-things-moms-do-09" width="800" height="447" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/cant-believe-mom-did-that.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/cant-believe-mom-did-that-300x168.jpg 300w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/cant-believe-mom-did-that-134x75.jpg 134w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/cant-believe-mom-did-that-200x113.jpg 200w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-477" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://becuo.com/surprised-kid-face" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">becuo.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>You do this because you think you&#8217;ve earned the right to do so because you are mom. Besides, why excuse yourself to go to another room when you have to closely watch over your child?</p>
<p>Taking care of the kids can be a handful. That’s why you sometimes do this gross thing &#8230;</p>
<h2>11. Skip showers just because you are so busy and always out of time doing all mom stuff.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_465" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-465" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-465" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/stinky-face.jpg" alt="gross-things-moms-do-10" width="800" height="800" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/stinky-face.jpg 500w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/stinky-face-96x96.jpg 96w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/stinky-face-300x300.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-465" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://usdailyreview.com/baby-stinky-face-contest-winner/#prettyPhoto/0/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">usdailyreview.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>&#8220;I smell something stinky, mom.&#8221;</p>
<p>Did you ever imagine you would have this guilty pleasure?</p>
<h2>10. Smell your baby’s diapers.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_748" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-748" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-748" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/mom-smell-diaper3.jpg" alt="mom-smell-diaper3" width="800" height="1198" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/mom-smell-diaper3.jpg 450w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/mom-smell-diaper3-300x449.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-748" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://bossip.com/665285/poor-stanky-thang-mom-and-child-kicked-off-bus-due-to-babys-horrendous-smelling-dookie-filled-diaper/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">bossip.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Did you ever think you’d smell soiled diapers? Some moms even love the smell of dirty, stinky diapers. Even actress <a href="http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-moms/news/sarah-jessica-parker-i-love-the-smell-of-dirty-diapers-2009611" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Sarah Jessica Parker admits to that</a>.</p>
<p>Did you ever think you would do this with your bare hands?</p>
<h2>9. Wipe drool off your child&#8217;s face with your bare hands, then wipe your hand dry on your dress.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_750" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-750" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-750" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/prince-george-drool-wipe-off.gif" alt="prince-george-drool-wipe-off" width="800" height="517" data-pin-nopin="true" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-750" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="https://uk.lifestyle.yahoo.com/blogs/fashion-blog/kate-middleton-wipes-prince-george-s-drool-on-her-designer-dress-and-proves-she-s-just-like-us-103528238.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">uk.lifestyle.yahoo.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Even the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, does it and wipes the royal drool on her designer dress as can be seen above.</p>
<p>Nothing can beat your flair for fashion when you become a mom.</p>
<h2>8. Wear clothing stained with vomit, saliva, pee, or poop.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_746" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-746" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-746" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/baby-poop-on-clothes1.jpg" alt="baby-poop-on-clothes1" width="800" height="654" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/baby-poop-on-clothes1.jpg 624w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/baby-poop-on-clothes1-300x245.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-746" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.pinkheartstring.com/2014/03/15-ugly-truths-about-raising-kids-that.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">pinkheartstring.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>The bad (or wierd and funny?!?) part is that you don’t even notice until someone tells you that you have these on your clothes.</p>
<p>When you’re a mom, you just have to learn to expect the unexpected &#8230;</p>
<h2>7. Bath in your child&#8217;s unexpected vomit.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_752" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-752" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-752" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/mom-child-vomit.jpg" alt="mom-child-vomit" width="800" height="536" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/mom-child-vomit.jpg 600w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/mom-child-vomit-300x201.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-752" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://usvsth3m.com/post/82677017877/cute-mum-baby-photoshoot-goes-very-badly" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">usvsth3m.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Just when you are done taking a bath, you end up soaking in fresh vomit &#8230; such perfect timing!</p>
<p>As a mom, you have such profound interest in this that you need to study it.</p>
<h2>6. Observe and study baby poop.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_756" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-756" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-756" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/poop_machine_funny_baby_shirt.jpg" alt="poop-machine-funny-baby-shirt" width="800" height="800" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/poop_machine_funny_baby_shirt.jpg 512w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/poop_machine_funny_baby_shirt-96x96.jpg 96w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/poop_machine_funny_baby_shirt-300x300.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-756" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.zazzle.com/poop_machine_funny_baby_shirt-235184604732144288" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">zazzle.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Yes, yes &#8230; studying and <a href="http://www.tommeetippee.us/support/baby-changing/baby-poop-information/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">smelling baby poop</a> is a dirty job but mom&#8217;s got to do it cause &#8230; you are mom.</p>
<p>When you’re just too tired, you don’t care. So you’ll do this, right?</p>
<h2>5. Sleep on a soiled sheet cause you are just so tired to care about it.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_757" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-757" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-757" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/tired-mom-sleep.jpg" alt="tired-mom-sleep" width="800" height="457" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/tired-mom-sleep.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/tired-mom-sleep-300x171.jpg 300w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/tired-mom-sleep-200x113.jpg 200w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-757" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.scarymommy.com/competitive-parenting/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">scarymommy.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>You’re just too tired to smell it anyway. You are excused cause you are a mom. Washing can wait.</p>
<p>As a mom, it just seems so natural to do this.</p>
<h2>4. Drink from your child’s glass even if there’s something floating in it.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_759" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-759" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-759" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/baby-drinking-water.jpg" alt="Cheerful baby girl sitting in chair and holding baby cup" width="800" height="534" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/baby-drinking-water.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/baby-drinking-water-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-759" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.pitterpatter.com.my/feeding-your-baby-8-eating-milestones/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">pitterpatter.com.my</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>You really don’t want to know what it is or where it’s from. You simply drink because you don&#8217;t want whatever is in the glass to go to waste or &#8230; you simply don&#8217;t really care cause you&#8217;re a mom anyway.</p>
<p>Babies practically just eat, sleep, play, and poop. Two of these could be kinda messy so what does mom have to do?</p>
<h2>3. Bathe a child all covered in food or sometimes, at worst &#8230; poop.</h2>
<p><a href="http://www.papamiket.com/i-love-pasta-but-this-is-ridiculous/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-3409" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/baby-eating.gif" alt="" width="500" height="818" data-pin-nopin="true" /></a></p>
<p>You just hope that the mess is just food most of the time. You can do it without batting an eyelash cause you are mom.</p>
<p>And just to make sure that your baby is eating safe food, you do this.</p>
<h2>2. Taste baby food.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_763" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-763" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-763" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/picky-eater-3.jpg" alt="picky-eater-3" width="800" height="543" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/picky-eater-3.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/picky-eater-3-300x204.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-763" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="https://appliedbehavioralstrategies.wordpress.com/2012/04/12/my-child-wont-eat/">appliedbehavioralstrategies.wordpress.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Talk about super mushy, mushy food! Moms have to taste them to make sure the baby will love them.</p>
<p>OMG! Did you ever think you’d do this last one?</p>
<h2>1. Grab a toy out of the toilet.</h2>
<figure id="attachment_767" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-767" style="width: 800px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-767" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/toy-in-toilet.jpg" alt="toy-in-toilet" width="800" height="1001" data-pin-nopin="true" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/toy-in-toilet.jpg 450w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/toy-in-toilet-300x375.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-767" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.fightingfrumpy.com/2011_04_01_archive.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">fightingfrumpy.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Yikes! The toilet isn’t even flushed! The stuffed toy is absorbing all the yikey stuff. It&#8217;s a major ewwww.</p>
<p><a href="https://media.giphy.com/media/QfUSzeiwzN1jW/g.gif"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-3413" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/mom-toilet.gif" alt="" width="600" height="338" data-pin-nopin="true" /></a></p>
<p><a href="https://media.giphy.com/media/QV5vp1BYenfCE/g.gif" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-3424" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/about-to-throw-up.gif" alt="" width="600" height="351" data-pin-nopin="true" /></a></p>
<p>Again, someone&#8217;s got to do the disgusting job and &#8230; that&#8217;s mom!</p>
<p>Come on don’t deny it. You are guilty of doing at least a couple of these things. However, you are excused &#8217;cause you are a mom. You have earned the respect of being a mom!</p>
<p>Great job mom! ?</p>
<p>Are there other gross things you do as a mom? Which of the grossest things presented really caught your attention? Which one very much, unfortunately, applies to you?</p>

<p>Life with your newborn is never easy. Even if you’re holding the most adorable baby in the whole world, you’ll eventually get totally worked up. The late night crying, the gas pains, the constipation, and the off and on fever will definitely keep drive you nuts.</p>
<p>All those are just part and parcel of a life with a newborn. It’s pretty hectic but that’s life with a newborn. There will be times when you just want to scream and to shout. Don’t worry about it because the infant stage can really do that to good folks like you.</p>
<p>So what’s the best thing is for you to do? Instead of letting the craziness and chaos get to you, why not just enjoy the moment?</p>
<p>After all, it won’t be long until your newborn turns into a toddler. It may be hard for you to believe this right now, but the infant stage is a lot more peaceful than the toddler years.</p>
<p>Here are the 7 reasons why having an infant is way easier than having a toddler. Funny mom and writer, <a href="http://www.scarymommy.com/author/alana-romain/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alana Romain</a> has this to say and to share about the infant stage.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>7. They Smell Delicious. </strong>Is there anything sweeter than the smell of a newborn baby? Just take a nice long sniff of your little infant’s head and all of your worries will disappear. Unfortunately this doesn’t usually translate into toddlerhood.</p></blockquote>
<figure id="attachment_1536" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1536" style="width: 580px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-1536" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/07-infant-easier-than-toddler.jpg" alt="07-infant-easier-than-toddler" width="580" height="348" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/07-infant-easier-than-toddler.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/07-infant-easier-than-toddler-300x180.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1536" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://mom.me/in-the-loop/9231-you-want-eat-your-baby-heres-why/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">mom.me</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>The next reason has something to do with cleaning. When it comes to cleaning, having a baby may mean additional laundry and stuff to clean. Still …</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>6. Your Clean House Can Stay That Way.</strong> Babies usually mean lots of laundry and bottles. When you’re exhausted, this can feel overwhelming. But you’ve never properly met a slob until you’ve lived with a toddler.</p></blockquote>
<figure id="attachment_1537" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1537" style="width: 580px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-1537" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/06-infant-easier-than-toddler.jpg" alt="06-infant-easier-than-toddler" width="580" height="415" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/06-infant-easier-than-toddler.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/06-infant-easier-than-toddler-300x215.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1537" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://brandomssa.blogspot.com/p/videos.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brandomssa.Blogspot.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>You thought you need to be on heightened alert every time with an infant.</p>
<p>Infants don’t require you to be on heightened alert when they are awake cause …</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>5. They Will Stay In One Spot.</strong> Enjoy being able to sit your baby down knowing that he won’t be able to run off and throw himself head-first down the stairs when your back is turned for two seconds. Savor it. It won’t last long.</p></blockquote>
<figure id="attachment_1539" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1539" style="width: 580px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-1539" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/05-infant-easier-than-toddler.jpg" alt="05-infant-easier-than-toddler" width="580" height="273" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/05-infant-easier-than-toddler.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/05-infant-easier-than-toddler-300x141.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1539" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.usa.philips.com/c-m-mo/articles-bottle-feeding-health/milk-allergies" target="_blank" rel="noopener">usa.philips.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Planning to go out of the house? … Then it’s really no biggie with infants since …</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>4. You Can Go Places Pretty Easily. </strong>I long for the days I could just cruise them around in their car seats and entertain them with colorful, dangly toys &#8230; These days, I find myself at the grocery store with two toddlers trying to launch themselves out of the cart while I’m picking out apples.</p></blockquote>
<figure id="attachment_1538" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1538" style="width: 580px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-1538" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/04-infant-easier-than-toddler.jpg" alt="04-infant-easier-than-toddler" width="580" height="387" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/04-infant-easier-than-toddler.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/04-infant-easier-than-toddler-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1538" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://havebabywilltravel.com/2011/10/10/flying-with-baby-travel-tips-for-flying-with-an-infant-3-mos/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">HaveBabyWillTravel.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>You think managing the needs of your newborn is hectic? Actually, managing the needs of newborns is a lot easier since …</p>
<blockquote><p><strong> 3. Their Needs Are Pretty Basic.</strong> The difficult part about newborns is that you have to do a lot of guessing. Are they hungry? Tired? Gassy? Maybe they just want to be held? As a parent, your job might be exhausting, but it’s pretty straightforward: keep the baby alive &#8230; Then comes toddlerhood. Now, you have to do all of the fundamental things you’ve done all along, but you also have to handle emotional meltdowns, the emerging need for independence &#8230;</p></blockquote>
<figure id="attachment_1540" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1540" style="width: 580px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-1540" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/03-infant-easier-than-toddler.jpg" alt="03-infant-easier-than-toddler" width="580" height="390" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/03-infant-easier-than-toddler.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/03-infant-easier-than-toddler-300x202.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1540" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.feminiya.com/getting-through-the-terrible-twos/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Feminiya.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>If the constant crying of your baby is getting to you, think again.</p>
<p>Savor your newborns crying because …</p>
<blockquote><p><strong> 2. They Are Quieter Than You Realize. </strong>Newborns cry, sure. But while it might feel incessant to your sleep-deprived, new-mom ears, I’m sorry to report that it gets worse. Eventually, crying will become screaming and whining, and it will happen specifically to voice their displeasure over a variety of formerly-benign occurrences – putting on clothes, getting out of the bath, eating dinner …</p></blockquote>
<figure id="attachment_1541" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1541" style="width: 580px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-1541" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/02-infant-easier-than-toddler.jpg" alt="02-infant-easier-than-toddler" width="580" height="324" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/02-infant-easier-than-toddler.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/02-infant-easier-than-toddler-300x168.jpg 300w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/02-infant-easier-than-toddler-134x75.jpg 134w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/02-infant-easier-than-toddler-200x113.jpg 200w" sizes="(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1541" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="https://windsorpeak.com/online-books/buy-now/baby-411-video-tutorials/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">windsorpeak.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>When it comes to managing sleep, you really cannot complain much when it comes to your baby’s sleeping habits cause …</p>
<blockquote><p><strong> 1. Babies Sleep a Lot.</strong> Babies might not sleep the way we want them to (i.e. through the night), but they do sleep an awful lot &#8230; Toddler sleep is full of not-so-awesome things like night terrors, or waking up in the middle of the night because they want to talk to Grandma on Facetime.</p></blockquote>
<figure id="attachment_1542" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1542" style="width: 580px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-1542" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/01-infant-easier-than-toddler.jpg" alt="01-infant-easier-than-toddler" width="580" height="327" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/01-infant-easier-than-toddler.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/01-infant-easier-than-toddler-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/01-infant-easier-than-toddler-134x75.jpg 134w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/01-infant-easier-than-toddler-200x113.jpg 200w" sizes="(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1542" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/relationships/what-your-sleep-position-says-about-you-and-your-relationship/story-fnet0he2-1226589671117" target="_blank" rel="noopener">news.com.au</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>The bottomline is, quit complaining. Enjoy your cute and adorable newborn. While it can get pretty crazy and chaotic, the infant stage is nothing compared to the toddler years.</p>
<p>So if you could just seize the moment, do it. Then make sure to brace yourself because the infant stage is nothing like the years to come.</p>
<p>If you are not totally convinced about the serenity of the infant stage, as compared to the toddler years, take a good look at what Alana has to fully say about it. You can read <a href="http://www.scarymommy.com/cant-appreciate-newborn-until-you-have-a-toddler/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">her full article here</a>.</p>
<p>Do you agree that infant stage is a lot more peaceful than the toddler years?</p>

<p>This mom is taking Facebook and the internet by storm. It&#8217;s not because she made a major booboo or because of some extra ordinary talent that she has &#8230; it&#8217;s because she reminds us that sometimes it&#8217;s just the simplest, mundane things that can really make us very happy.</p>
<p>In her Facebook Live video, Candace Payne, a 37 year old mother of two, just could not contain her excitement about her purchase at Kohl&#8217;s. The gift, which she said is intended for her son, is for hers to keep:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8230; at the end of the day, this is mine that I bought and I&#8217;m gonna keep it for my own.</p></blockquote>
<p>From that point on in the video, she just could not contain her excitement and giddiness. As she does a demo of the Star Wars Chewbacca mask, her giddiness turns into an infectious laughing fit. You just have to really see it yourself.</p>
<p>Here are some of the comments people shared regarding the video:</p>
<blockquote><p><span data-ft="{&quot;tn&quot;:&quot;K&quot;}"><span class="UFICommentBody">GREATNESS!!!!! We are laughing! So fun!</span></span></p>
<p><span data-ft="{&quot;tn&quot;:&quot;K&quot;}"><span class="UFICommentBody">OMG <i class="_3kkw"></i><i class="_3kkw"></i><i class="_3kkw"></i><i class="_3kkw"></i> that is freakin awesome!! I don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s more awesome though&#8230; The mask or it trying to keep up with your laughter! </span></span></p>
<p><span data-ft="{&quot;tn&quot;:&quot;K&quot;}"><span class="UFICommentBody">You won the internet today! Best thing ever!! I still laugh just thinking about it! <i class="_3kkw"></i><i class="_3kkw"></i></span></span></p>
<p><span data-ft="{&quot;tn&quot;:&quot;K&quot;}"><span class="UFICommentBody">This is the best video of the year&#8230;.period! You are so funny and I&#8217;m buying that mask asap!</span></span></p></blockquote>
<p>Chewbacca Mom&#8217;s video has, as of this writing, garnered more than 111.0 million views (and still counting).</p>
<p>Here is Chewbacca Mom&#8217;s must see video. She really brought a lot of sunshine to my day! 🙂</p>
<p><iframe title="YouTube video player" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/y3yRv5Jg5TI?si=ph8f4gE5DprDrOck" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></p>
<p>In the video, she goes, &#8220;This is worth every penny.&#8221; &#8230; and then continues with her infectious laughter. Well, Candace, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/candaceSpayne/videos/10209653193067040/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">your video</a> was no doubt worth every minute of my time. Thanks for bringing us all some unfiltered joy and laughter.</p>
<p>I definitely agree that sometimes, it&#8217;s the simple joys in life that can truly make us happy.</p>
<p>On a side note, Disney should thank her when sales of this Chewbacca mask goes through the roof.</p>
<p>Did <a href="https://www.facebook.com/candaceSpayne/videos/10209653193067040/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chewbacca Mom</a> bring a few minutes of joy to your life too?</p>

<p>Yes! You’re finally pregnant! After all the trying, you finally got it right. Now, you’re just so excited to learn about every single thing about pregnancy and having a baby.</p>
<p>So what do you do now? In your excitement to devour every bit of information there is about pregnancy and giving birth, you read every single book that’s available out there.</p>
<p>No one can blame you for that.</p>
<p>Most expecting moms usually do that. It is very convenient to read a book. You can do it anytime and anywhere.</p>
<p>However, you can’t really rely on all the baby books you read. Truth be told, they don’t tell you everything. The most they can do is to entertain you but they won’t tell you everything you need to know about the realities of post-birth.</p>
<p>So don’t expect to learn everything from all the baby books you’re reading. Chances are; they’re missing out on the 13 realities of post-birth.</p>
<p>Here the 13 realities of post-birth that most baby books don’t tackle.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>13. How to function on little to no sleep.</strong> Between 3 a.m. feedings and hours spent coaxing the little one to bed, new moms are lucky if they get a solid hour of shut-eye.</p>
<p><strong>12. What you actually need to buy for baby.</strong> Or at the very least, <a href="http://www.popsugar.com/moms/Baby-Gear-You-Shouldnt-Buy-Right-Away-35797570#photo-35797570" target="_blank" rel="noopener">products you can wait to purchase</a>.</p>
<p><strong>11. How to go to the bathroom after giving birth.</strong> Whether you suffer from epidural side effects or pain in your pelvis, your first few trips to the commode will be a challenge. To make the &#8220;movement&#8221; easier, eat high-fiber foods, drink plenty of water, and take comfort in the fact that it does get easier.</p>
<p><strong>10. How to look put together after giving birth.</strong> Your baby won&#8217;t be the only one getting her photo taken that day.</p>
<p><strong>9. How to take the best baby photos.</strong> We know what types of photos to take, but there is only so much you can do with an iPhone.</p>
<p><strong>8. How to decipher your baby&#8217;s cries.</strong> It would be so much easier to deal with their tears if we knew what our babies wanted.</p>
<p><strong>7. How to change a diaper without getting peed or pooped on.</strong> Because no parent should have to stop and change themselves.</p>
<p><strong>6. When to call the doctor and when to deal with it yourself.</strong> It&#8217;s easy for new moms to turn into hypochondriacs &#8230; especially with WebMD. But sometimes a cough is just a cough.</p>
<p><strong>5. How to move a sleeping baby from the car to the house without waking him.</strong> All it takes is a tiny shake to wake a baby from his slumber.</p>
<p><strong>4. How to ignore judgmental moms.</strong> There will be plenty of them in your parks, playgrounds, and playgroups. And while a witty comeback may seem like the best approach, sometimes it&#8217;s best to just let it go.</p>
<p><strong>3. How to get your partner to help more.</strong> They helped make the baby, so it&#8217;s only fair that they help take care of her, too.</p>
<p><strong>2. How to cope with mom guilt.</strong> No woman should ever think she&#8217;s the worst mother.</p>
<p><strong>1. How much life will change after baby arrives.</strong> Actually, this may be the one thing a book can&#8217;t prepare you for. But we promise that it&#8217;s all (mostly) amazing.</p></blockquote>
<p>This doesn’t mean that you should put that baby book down now. Oh, not at all. You can still go on reading.</p>
<p>However, don’t expect the find the 13 realities of post birth within the pages of the baby book you’re presently reading.</p>
<p>Chances are the baby books you’ve read have already warned you about the sleepless nights ahead. Well, that’s a given fact.</p>
<p>There will definitely be a lot of sleepless nights ahead. However no baby book will ever give you tips on how to stay awake. You just have to figure that out yourself.</p>
<p>Unless you’re reading the book of life, don’t expect to learn, from the pages of a baby book, about the changes that will happen after giving birth. Baby books don’t tackle that kind of heavy stuff.</p>
<p>So the bottom line is that no baby book can ever prepare you for motherhood. Thanks to this <a href="http://www.popsugar.com/moms/Things-Baby-Books-Should-Cover-35901400?utm_source=scarymommy.com&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=pubexchange_facebook#photo-undefined" target="_blank" rel="noopener">post birth reality-checking article</a>, you now know that you shouldn’t expect too much from that baby book you’re reading.</p>
<p>Can you think of other post birth realities that you might have to figure out yourself?</p>

<p>What does a parrot have to do with parenting? Absolutely nothing. However, if the parrot has an uncanny ability to imitate a crying baby, well then … there could be a possible connection. 🙂</p>
<p>I just had to feature this outrageously crazy parrot. It’s just totally funny. You really have to see and hear it for yourself to believe it.</p>
<p>Here are what people who have seen this on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">YouTube</a> have to say:</p>
<blockquote><p>ahahaha i cant stop laughing</p>
<p>Mind blown. Damn.</p>
<p>Lol like a baby</p>
<p>that is soooooooooo cute</p></blockquote>
<p>Here’s the video of this crazy little parrot perfectly imitating a crying baby.</p>
<p><iframe title="YouTube video player" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/YIxW0Sfhl6M?si=gD5Fu8uZlsowVhph" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></p>
<p>Makes me want to get myself a parrot like this one. On second thought, probably not. I’ll just watch this over again and just have a good laugh. That’s much easier than taking care of a parrot.</p>
<p>Was this parrot funny or what?</p>

<p>What comes to mind when you see a baby? Cute. Adorable. Lovable. Yes, yes, and yes! How about smart? Not sure about that? Surprisingly, they’re actually way smarter than we think they are.</p>
<p>According to <a href="http://www.babycenter.com/0_developmental-milestones-understanding-words-behavior-and-co_6575.bc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">babycenter.com</a>, babies are fast learners.</p>
<blockquote><p>Research shows that babies start listening to their parents&#8217; voices while still in the womb. Once born, your baby begins tuning in to your words and sentence patterns to figure out what you&#8217;re saying.</p></blockquote>
<p>That’s not all. In spite of their blank stares, babies are actually capable of copying facial expressions. According to <a href="http://www.parentingcounts.org/information/timeline/capable-of-imitating-facial-gestures-0-2-months/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">parentingcounts.org</a>:</p>
<blockquote><p>Newborns only hours old have been found to copy facial expressions, like making an &#8220;O&#8221; with their lips or sticking out their tongues.</p></blockquote>
<p>So don’t be fooled by their cuteness. Since babies are utterly adorable, they’ll end up manipulating you. They have the power to do so. All they need to do is to imitate a smile to get you weak in your knees. That’s one smart move &#8230; don’t you think?</p>
<p>Since babies are fast learners, they end up doing a lot of other surprising things you’d never expect them to do.</p>
<p>Here are the 5 surprising things babies can easily do.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>5. Babies Are Seekers of Justice.</strong> Before we&#8217;re able to talk or walk or take care of our own poops without sitting in them for a while first, we&#8217;re able to distinguish between good and evil. Not only that, but we&#8217;re also able to choose the right side. (Good &#8230; the right side is good.) Source: <a href="http://www.cracked.com/article_20494_5-amazing-things-you-didnt-know-babies-could-do.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cracked.com</a></p></blockquote>
<figure id="attachment_1393" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1393" style="width: 580px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-1393" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/05-surprising-things-babies1.jpg" alt="05-surprising-things-babies1" width="580" height="537" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/05-surprising-things-babies1.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/05-surprising-things-babies1-300x278.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1393" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.iliketoquote.com/3-years-in-jail-for-stealing-my-nose/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">iliketoquote.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>A <a href="http://phys.org/news/2010-05-psychologists-babies-wrong-months.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">research study</a> carried out at Yale University’s Infant Cognition Center and led by Paul Bloom, a professor psychology, found out that babies can indeed have moral judgement and can differentiate between helpful and unhelpful behavior.</p>
<blockquote><p>In one experiment babies between six and ten months old were repeatedly shown a puppet show featuring wooden shapes with eyes. A red ball attempts to climb a hill and is aided at times by a yellow triangle that helps it up the hill by getting behind it and pushing. At other times the red ball is forced back down the hill by a blue square. After watching the puppet show at least six times the babies were asked to choose a character. An overwhelming majority (over 80%) chose the helpful figure. Prof. Bloom said it was not a subtle statistical trend as “just about all the babies reached for the good guy.</p></blockquote>
<p>Can you believe a minutes-old newborn can do this next surprising thing?</p>
<p>Rumors are true &#8230; this phenomenon really does happen. Wow.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>4. Newborns Can Crawl to Boobs.</strong> If you place a brand new minutes-old baby in the middle of his mother&#8217;s chest, the baby will slowly but methodically migrate to one of her nipples, latch on, and start sucking. Source: <a href="http://www.cracked.com/article_20494_5-amazing-things-you-didnt-know-babies-could-do.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cracked.com</a></p></blockquote>
<figure id="attachment_1394" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1394" style="width: 580px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-1394" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/04-surprising-things-babies.jpg" alt="04 surprising-things-babies" width="580" height="369" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/04-surprising-things-babies.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/04-surprising-things-babies-326x206.jpg 326w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/04-surprising-things-babies-300x191.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1394" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.lolroflmao.com/2012/02/12/so-if-i-cry-i-get-boobies/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lolroflmao.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>This is a phenomenon known as a “breast crawl”:</p>
<blockquote><p>Breast crawl is the instinct of mammal (including human) newborns to move towards the nipple and attach to it for breastfeeding all by themself. In humans, if the newborn baby is put on the mother&#8217;s abdomen, the movements start 12 to 44 minutes after birth, followed by spontanous suckling at 27 to 71 minutes after birth.” Source: <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breast_crawl" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wikipedia.org</a></p></blockquote>
<p><a href="http://www.breastcrawl.org/science.shtml" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Studies confirm</a> this amazing instinctive ability of babies. According to researchers, babies use their sense of smell, hearing, and vision to crawl on their mother’s belly and latch on her nipple. It’s really an extra ordinary phenomena.</p>
<p>Parents have suspected this for the longest time. Researchers have also confirmed this.</p>
<p>These little cuties surely know how to manipulate us at such a young age.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>3. Babies Can “Fake Cry” to Attract Attention.</strong> Like method actors the world over, young babies can turn their thoughts and feelings into lifelike performances which elicit from their audiences — mostly mom, really — mostly &#8230; attention. Sound manipulative? It sort of is. Source: <a href="http://mom.me/baby/10890-your-crying-baby-playing-you/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mom.me</a></p></blockquote>
<figure id="attachment_1395" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1395" style="width: 580px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-1395" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/03-surprising-things-babies.jpg" alt="03 surprising-things-babies" width="580" height="580" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/03-surprising-things-babies.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/03-surprising-things-babies-96x96.jpg 96w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/03-surprising-things-babies-300x300.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1395" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://josbabygifts.co.uk/137-i-m-not-crying-i-m-ordering-my-dinner-funny-baby-bibs.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">josbabygifts.co.uk</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Confirming what a lot of parents suspect, a Japanese researcher analyzed the cries of two babies over the course of six months and found that a baby can indeed turn on the waterworks on an instant in order to get a mother’s attention.</p>
<blockquote><p>The infant &#8220;appeared to cry deliberately to get her mother’s attention and convey to her [mother] that she wanted her to come closer and play with her again,&#8221; <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/01/17/babies-fake-crying_n_4618963.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">study researcher Hiroko Nakayama</a>, of the University of the Sacred Heart in Tokyo, wrote in the December issue of the journal Infant Behavior and Development. &#8220;This appeared to be an instance of fake crying,&#8221; Nakayama said.</p></blockquote>
<p>Why do babies keep watching your mouth when you talk?</p>
<p>Did you know that babies can do this?</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>2. Babies Can Read Your Lips.</strong> Starting at about 6 months old, babies stop looking into their caregivers&#8217; eyes and start looking at <a href="http://www.boston.com/lifestyle/health/articles/2012/01/17/study_babies_try_lip_reading_in_learning_to_talk/?rss_id=Top+Stories" target="_blank" rel="noopener">their lips</a> to figure out how to make sounds correctly. Source: <a href="http://www.cracked.com/article_20494_5-amazing-things-you-didnt-know-babies-could-do_p2.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cracked.com</a></p></blockquote>
<figure id="attachment_1396" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1396" style="width: 580px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-1396" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/02-surprising-things-babies.jpg" alt="02-surprising-things-babies" width="580" height="413" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/02-surprising-things-babies.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/02-surprising-things-babies-300x215.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1396" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.dumpaday.com/funny-pictures/kids-funnier-captions-25-pics/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">dumpaday.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Researchers found that starting at around 6 months, babies appear to be studying the lips of people who were talking to them instead of just gazing intently into the talking person’s eyes.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;The baby in order to imitate you has to figure out how to shape their lips to make that particular sound they&#8217;re hearing,&#8221; explains developmental <a href="http://www.boston.com/lifestyle/health/articles/2012/01/17/study_babies_try_lip_reading_in_learning_to_talk/?rss_id=Top+Stories" target="_blank" rel="noopener">psychologist David Lewkowicz</a> of Florida Atlantic University, who led the study being published Monday. &#8220;It&#8217;s an incredibly complex process.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>It doesn’t take long for babies to start picking up things and start matching the sounds coming out with the movements of the mouth. It’s quite remarkable that these little babies are so observant.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a pretty intriguing finding,&#8221; says University of Iowa <a href="http://www.boston.com/lifestyle/health/articles/2012/01/17/study_babies_try_lip_reading_in_learning_to_talk/?rss_id=Top+Stories" target="_blank" rel="noopener">psychology professor Bob McMurray</a>, who also studies speech development. The babies &#8220;know what they need to know about, and they&#8217;re able to deploy their attention to what&#8217;s important at that point in development.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Who needs a lie detector when apparently, babies are as adept as being BS detectors as they are milk consumption experts.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>1. Babies Are Amazing B*llshit Detectors.</strong> Not only are babies adept at determining when someone is lying to them, but they totally judge them for it. Source: <a href="http://www.cracked.com/article_20494_5-amazing-things-you-didnt-know-babies-could-do_p2.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cracked.com</a></p></blockquote>
<figure id="attachment_1398" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1398" style="width: 580px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-1398" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/01a-surprising-things-babies.jpg" alt="01a-surprising-things-babies" width="580" height="771" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/01a-surprising-things-babies.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/01a-surprising-things-babies-300x399.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1398" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="http://www.dumpaday.com/funny-pictures/kids-funnier-captions-25-pics/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">dumpaday.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>We know that babies are great imitators. That’s pretty much how they learn, being pretty much like sponge. However, a study found that babies tend to imitate an adult based on how credible they perceive that particular adult. It’s like they have some sort of radar to screen the real one from the “bogus” one.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Like older children, infants keep track of an individual&#8217;s history of being accurate or inaccurate and use this information to guide their subsequent learning,&#8221; said study <a href="http://www.livescience.com/17399-babies-picky-imitate.html?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Livesciencecom+%28LiveScience.com+Science+Headline+Feed%29" target="_blank" rel="noopener">researcher Diane Poulin-Dubois</a>, a professor in the Concordia Department of Psychology and member of the university&#8217;s Centre for Research in Human Development. &#8220;Specifically, infants choose not to learn from someone who they perceive as unreliable.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Numbers 1 and 2 are surprising revelations. All the while you thought you could get away with certain stuff, apparently not. You’re better off thinking twice before saying something to your cute, adorable baby.</p>
<p>It’s interesting how babies can do all these things. This hilariously written, yet factual <a href="http://www.cracked.com/article_20494_5-amazing-things-you-didnt-know-babies-could-do_p2.html">article</a> gives a more in depth explanation as to why and how babies are capable of doing amazing things. <p>That&#8217;s exactly what adorable Sophie did when she got into trouble while doing just that. Her father, Joseph Nagorski, had to get to the bottom of the nail polish disaster so little Sophie had some explaining to do before she got her punishment.</p>
<p>This little princess had it all figured-out, complete with the accompanying tears, as she tried to wriggle her way out of trouble. Below are some of the comments on this must-watch video on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">YouTube</a>:</p>
<blockquote><p>LOL I love this!</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t think I could punish her she&#8217;s just too adorable.</p>

<p>Isn&#8217;t this little girl adorable? She sure has her dad wrapped around her fingers. hehehe. Can&#8217;t blame him.</p>
<p>Of course, just like anything on the Internet, Sophie&#8217;s dad came under fire with people who were not a fan of his parenting style. This is what he had to say to them:</p>
<blockquote><p>For those of you that saw this video as a cute little girl trying to get out of trouble in a cute way, thank you! You actually saw the video as it was intended and I am happy you enjoyed it,” he wrote. “For those that are trying to critique our parenting style and diagnosis our daughter, I am sorry that you have nothing to do other than shame other people and read way to deep into light-hearted videos on YouTube.</p></blockquote>
<p>Well done, Sophie&#8217;s dad.</p>
<p>Did you enjoy watching little Sophie explain her way out of trouble by blaming Barbie?</p>

<p>The folks at luxury stroller maker, <a href="https://www.bugaboo.com/NL/en_NL/home" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bugaboo</a>, sure have marketing sorta figured out with their latest photo on their Facebook fanpage &#8230; an image of a jogging stroller being pushed by a super model in her bikinis. Yup, you read that right and I am not kidding.</p>
<p>The image has certainly created some stir and polarizing conversation among moms with some wacky and hilarious comments on Bugaboo&#8217;s Facebook such as:</p>
<blockquote><p>I&#8217;m not gonna cus her out for what she&#8217;s wearing but I have 2 children and if was running in this on the school run it would be because I&#8217;d forgotten to put my clothes on because we&#8217;re late for school, my 5 year old had fallen off his scooter, my 2 year old refuses to put his shoes on and there&#8217;s a good chance I haven&#8217;t had the time to do my bikini line. There&#8217;s an image to leave you with.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s actually my body, just with her head on it. The message here is: staying fit is suuuuuuuuuper easy and if you do not have a Bugaboo then you&#8217;re stupid.</p>
<p>That top cannot be supporting anything, there is nothing to it! If the image was of her wearing that outfit whilst enjoying a day at the beach or pool then fine it looks appropriate but really, taking a run with ur child in the park???!!!</p></blockquote>
<p>Want to see the picture that is creating some controversy?</p>
<p>Below is Bugaboo&#8217;s controversial photo of supermodel Ymre Stiekema running around in her bikinis while pushing a jogging stroller.</p>
<figure id="attachment_1069" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1069" style="width: 580px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/bugaboo3.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-1069" src="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/bugaboo3.jpg" alt="bugaboo3" width="580" height="668" srcset="https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/bugaboo3.jpg 580w, https://www.ohmyparenting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/bugaboo3-300x346.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1069" class="wp-caption-text"><a href="https://www.bugaboo.com/NL/en_NL/journal/article/2015-bugaboo-runner-ymre-stiekema" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bugaboo.com</a></figcaption></figure>
<p>Here are what other moms have to say about the photo:</p>
<blockquote><p>Lol mums have no excuse now. Exercise those body&#8217;s, and stop making excuses!!</p>
<p>I often go running with a full face of make up on, a bikini and no socks.</p>
<p>I hope she&#8217;s running to mcdonalds. I&#8217;d rather not look like that! Far too skinny. Cor I&#8217;m no model but that&#8217;s not a great picture to show new mums. I like a real woman with wobbly bits!</p>
<p>Love this!! &#8230;Perhaps some of you ladies need to put the twinkles down and get out from behind the keyboard and go for a run.</p></blockquote>
<p>Now that you have seen this controversial image of supermodel <a href="http://models.com/models/Ymre-Stiekema" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ymre Stiekema</a> running around in her bikini and pushing a bugaboo stroller, what&#8217;s the first thing that comes to your mind? Do you find this funny, silly, absurd or is this something inspiring and something to strive for?</p>

<p>Toddlers are usually the easiest to please. Unfortunately, they’re the easiest to annoy as well. You can do something very subtle only to end up annoying them.</p>
<p>When they’re in a very, very bad mood, it just seems like every little thing you do annoys them.</p>
<p>So what are you to do? You definitely want to avoid annoying them but that becomes a very difficult task most especially if you don’t know what to do. To add to that, how are you supposed to figure out what to do if you don’t really know what annoys them, right?</p>
<p>First things first, you need to figure out exactly what annoys your toddler. Considering the fact that you’re pretty much the only person your toddler interacts with on a regular basis, what you do or say is the reason why your toddler gets annoyed. As much as that hurts, it’s true.</p>
<p>Narrowing it down to what you say or do is still pretty tricky. You probably won’t be able to figure that out right away.</p>
<p>Here the 10 subtle ways that you unknowingly do to annoy your toddler.</p>
<blockquote><p>1. Present them with merely one option at meal time.</p>
<p>2. Ask them to wash dirt off their hands.</p>
<p>3. Do not know the exact lyrics to every nursery rhyme ever created.</p>
<p>4. Look at them.</p>
<p>5. Don&#8217;t look at them.</p>
<p>6. Ask them to wipe their nose with a tissue rather than their sleeve.</p>
<p>7. Tell them they are not allowed to play with knives.</p>
<p>8. Limit them to taking less than five stuffed animals in the car.</p>
<p>9. Imply that a nap would make them less cranky.</p>
<p>10. Do not recognize that the yellow and black crayon marks were actually a picture of a cloud.</p></blockquote>
<p>At this point, you’re thinking, “I do that all the time?” Yes, you do. You’re also probably thinking, “I didn’t know that was annoying.” Well, it is. The truth is, it’s high time that you memorize your toddler’s favorite nursery rhyme.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, there are more than just 10 subtle ways to unknowingly annoy your toddler. According to a blogger and mom, <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/brooke-arellano/30-ways-to-offend-your-toddler_b_7481000.html?ir=Good+News&amp;ncid=fcbklnkushpmg00000023" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brooke Arellano</a>, there are actually 30 subtle ways. Now, that is a long list for you to familiarize yourself with. Nonetheless, you just have to. So if you want to see the whole list, you can read her full article on <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/brooke-arellano/30-ways-to-offend-your-toddler_b_7481000.html?ir=Good+News&amp;ncid=fcbklnkushpmg00000023" target="_blank" rel="noopener">huffingtonpost.com</a>.</p>
<p>Which of the top ten subtle ways are you most guilty of doing?</p>
